was bought buy prevoius owner as a show bike, was taken in a van to shows to promote the clothing company. was painted orange and brown.
passed to my care in 2005 repainted in standard red/silver. new factory decals , rims repainted.

| Modifications: |
has racing full exhaust system. beautoful, smooth and sounds quiet in town but when the intake starts taking in air the exhaust starts taking to you ,"it always says ,open me up, lets go!!!!"
i had the ecu unit recalibrated. much better pickup and quicker revving than it was. |
| Problems: |
from all the promotions , it was washed a lot , but hardly ridden. the main power cable to the ign switch corroded away from water lying in the sleeving . took a while to find the problem. but with help from some clever friends we replaced the cable and sealed the sleeving. still looks 100% standard. and i promised not to let her become a trailer queen again. i use her at least once a week. we have great weather here in africa , which is a help.i have 11 bikes and they all take turns to be used . moto morini 3 1/2, aprilia rs250, ducati 500gtl these are the italians. i have a bmw f650 but its one of the early ones also made by aprilia so its an italian under the skin. have a yamaha chappy for commuting to work. a kymco venox cruiser for beating harleys in the corners.a cr125 05 last of the strokers, a kdx200 for enduros. a xl200r , electric start. have the f4 and a vfr400 (nc30) for road. this year i got a cbr400(nc23) as a project to fix up also. i have a few old cars also so space is getting to be a problem but my wife , understanding as she is, still says no to the mv in the house.
Just got me a bmw R1100s . wanted a big twin so now i have a oilhead . |
