| Problems: |
When I got the bike the swingarm was marked and rear axle and nut ground down .The nut was relaced new, at cost of £50 and another axle, ebay £70 ,Retail is over £400 ,so now use R&G protectors front and rear and use a normal bobbin type paddock stand. |

First time I rode this bike, everything standard apart from the motor, just couldnt believe the difference from my standard 2000F4 750. {and it was a good one, it got onto this site before me}Then I started changing components ,first fitted Maxton suspension, then the Dymags and PFM's,cant say I noticed any difference in steering response with the dymags but did have to back damping settings off.Another factor here apart from my insensivity was changing fom racetecs to the older rennsports which feel stiffer and are probably heavierThe brakes are superb . At the MVOC Cadwell trackday I ran 13/43 gearing and could comfortably sit behind a GSXR K5 which had a tooth off the front sprocket . All MV 750's should have been like this . Next mod is to alter the swingarm pivot height to same as my other bike or more likely just swap them. |
