Unhooked outboard throttle spring, but noticed no improvement after riding, so returned to stock configuration. |
| Problems: |
No mechanical problems yet. One electrical gremlin has cropped up: sometimes at a stoplight, my headlight will flash to highbeams for a fraction of a second.
My only complaints are a buzzy throttle grip and coolant dripping out the overflow on boilover, despite filling to the proper mark. For the buzzing, I think a snugger, ball-bearing mounted throttle tube would help, since the left grip is not buzzy at all. |

So far surprisingly good in all respects. I'm beginning to think the mirror vibration issue is blown out of proportion by those who expect perfection out of an otherwise perfect bike; the vibes seems to be going away now that the bike is breaking in and I'm moving into various rev ranges. |
