| History: |
Found water damaged bike at a local bike shop while on vacation. Sitting for 2 years after hurricane soaked the bike, owner had disappeared. Talked shop owner into selling it. Trailered it back to Canada. |
| Modifications: |
Total rebuild and restoration from the inside out. Salt water inside motor. Tank rotted, fuel pump disolved from salt water, etc,etc, $$$$$$. |
| Problems: |
Mostly electrical! All solved. Obtaining ownership was the biggest problem.Update June/07 Have since put about 1000KMS on it, so far so good. Needs a power commander ( on order) flat spot 3K-5K, goes good after 5 grand! UPDATE 2007 Power commander solved all problems. 5 pin relay caused numerous issues over time, replaced with a factory one. SOLVED!

Never again! If I find a ferrari in Mexico I'll leave it! Getting this thing registered in Canada was a HUGE problem, don't try it kids!! |
