| History: |
Converted my Suzuki SV650 to a track-only race bike. Bought the 2006 Brutale brand new in January 2007 for a discounted $12995 out-the-door. |
| Modifications: |
Custom welded 2" exhaust with Micron canister. Custom welded aluminum fender-eliminator. Frame sliders, rear wheel sliders, fork sliders, CRG mirrors. |
| Problems: |
1. Hydraulic clutch line leaked fluid out the crimp in the high-pressure fitting.
2. Gas leaked out the high pressure line under the gas tank, and shattered as soon as I put any pressure on it.
3. Water pump gasket leaked on first ride, dealer fixed under warranty
4. Blinkers/headlight/fan got messed up, dealer fixed PSU under warranty
5. Blinkers/headlight/fan messed up again, dealer fixed again under warranty
6. Fuel pump died, dealer fixed under warranty
7. Fuel pump died again, dealer fixed again under warranty
8. Fuel pump died 3rd time, bike out of warranty. Dealer fixed gratis anyways.
9. Headlight glass fell out of headlight housing. Resealed it myself.
10. Fuel started pouring out the overflow tube. Rubber line inside tank dry rotted.
