In depth
History: I bought the bike from my local dealer during the winter of 2004, it had just over 6000 miles on the clock and had obviously been well cared for and came with a FSH, stand and the much sought after embroidered cover.

The 750 had no accident damage at all, and very few stone chips on the belly pan, the engine is in lovely condition with no signs of corrosion due to wet riding or being caught out on salted roads.

I have worked this bike hard and have enjoyed every moment of it.

The previous owner who also lives o the Isle of Man is now a good pal of mine and he deeply regretted selling the bike so much so that he replaced it with another 750 (2002) we ride together most weekends on the TTcourse where unless otherwise stated there is no speed limit, so it is a regular thing to see 160+ on the mountain mile.
Modifications: Sent the original set of slip-on exhausts to Casoli for them to take the guts out, and hopefully make it breath a little easier

I found it had the same effect on me when I saw what was involved, it took my breath away when I saw what had had been done to achieve the sound.

I have fitted a PCIII and BMC airfilter and have had the machine custom mapped by Simon @ Raceways Motorcycles /Carbon Can Co, in Fleetwood, Lancashire England.

The old girl bashed out 121+ bhp @ the back wheel when the dyno work was done which took over 2 hours and rides well.

I have had the forks rebuilt as they were feeling a little lazy, and stripped and rebuilt the front calipers as they were feeling a little spongey, solid lever now though.

Have had the wheels painted gold, fitted gold anodisd frame plugs, Large MV decals on the fairing and lacquered over, anodised gold exhaust system
Problems: It overheats a bit when in traffic and the back brake will not function no matter what I do to it, I have tried everything. Please

Will somebody please tell me how to get the rear brake working on an F4 as my 2005 F41000 is just as bad as the 750!!
Comments: I love this little bike and since I have owned it have covered 7000 miles on it without any problems whatsoever, it prefers Pirelli Diablo Corsa's and doesn,t like having the rear replaced without the front as well.

It handles great with a new pair but not so well with a new rear on a part worn front.

I feel so guilty when I ride it as the rev limiter is grinding at my concience all the time, and it has a very revvy motor that needs buzzing.

So as a result of my guilt trip I have bought a 1000F4 now and have given myself a new set of problems to deal with, but at least the rev limiter doesn't get so hammered.

Does the build quality seem a lot better on the early machines, or am I just lucky?

The engine runs very sweet, a very quiet motor comparred to the 1000 for sure.
