| History: |
Originally imported to Monroe Motors, San Francisco, CA. Sold to BMW of Salt Lake, which is where I first saw it on display. I purchased the bike in 2/2004. |
| Modifications: |
The only mod from stock is a tank protector to keep from scratching the tank with the zipper of my riding suit. |
| Problems: |
Only two problems. One, the heat reflective tape on the inside for the carbon fiber fairing is coming loose and needs to be replaced. Two, the O-ring that seals the connection to the fuel line cracked last winter when it became cold and it began to leak fuel. This was easily replaced. |

I have had the opportunity to take the bike to Miller Motorsports Park a few times to use it as it was intended. Works much better with 180/60 tire than a 190/55. |
