History: Previous owner sold it at 1500 miles in May '09
Modifications: Sato Rearsets, Catalyst Race Side Panels (with hot air extraction vents), Microtech ECU, 3rd radiator (Ducati 1098/1198), removed air screens from side fairings, removed side fairing bottom 'air slot' plate (as done on 2010 F4), Muzzy aluminum fan blades, 3rd generation water pump impeller and housing, air gaps in radiator shroud to radiator filled with aircraft silicon baffle material, Water Wetter coolant. Raised clip-ons 1/8" by re-grinding locating pin feature lower on clip-on clamp pivot hardware. Added 1/2" tall 'shoe' to kickstand for more stable upright stance. Added kevlar / aluminum heat barrier to bottom of plastic heat shield.
Problems: Overheating (without mods). Flat spot and mid-corner throttle butterflys slamming shut (with OEM ECU).
Comments: Choose my '07 F4 1000R (1+1) over a new '09 Ducati 1198S. No regrets.
