I'm the first REAL owner. Bought new in 2000, pre registered from a Brighton Aprilia Dealer who got it from Powerhouse, Ashford, Kent, parallel import (back then you couldn't get them for love nor money). Failed first MOT 3yrs later as headlight had wrong dip, sorted for free by Powerhouse. Servicing has been a nightmare throughout due to lack of parts, even basics such as oil filters! Had one of the early oil filters carck around its flange, luckliy I noticed the smoke in mirrors before I cranked her over! |

Just lots of Carbon, but nothing fitted that isn't quickly reversed |

In the first year of ownership 2001 many things replaced, including main ECU. |

Gobsmacked at first sight when launched but only drawn to Red/silver and mono posto. Seen just about every other colour combo but to me no others come close. Love the original silver alloy sculpted side stand compared to that replacement black pig iron one!
Think the 2010 model loses a lot of the original design features that make the bike so bl**dy great to look at. Now looking more Japanese. |
