This bike was purchased new and kept as a collectable piece by the orginal owner and used very sparingly as evidenced by 1499miles in 40 years to 2011. It was subsquently purchased by a motorcycle investor/speculator in 2006 who placed less than 10 miles on during his ownership.
The bike was negotiated by my wife and purchased for me as a surprise milestone birthday gift. It is in outstanding original unmolested condition and it even includes the original toolkit! Some patina on the muffler and a slight lifting of the original clear coat on the ride side of the tank are the only tell tale signs of its true age. I don't intend to touch either of those things. |

As with all my bikes - this bike will now be registered and ridden so that other motorcyle enthusiasts can also enjoy it. Best birthday present ever from my wonderful wife and life partner (perhaps not the best - she did also give me a son on my birthday 17 years ago but this is a VERY close second :-). |
